Part of the "wild bunch" who created the book domino at the library on July 23, 2015. We had 18 kids in & out of the library who worked on the creation. For inspiration, they first watched a video on the Seattle Library's wonderful domino. Then the work began. They used approx. 1154 books and it took them around 5 hours to build, do a test run & set back up. Lunch was provided by the library and the library was closed to the public so the kids had all the space they needed to work. They set them off on Friday July 24 for the public and it all went pretty well! We had several who stayed & helped put the books back on the shelves. The "drop" was around 9:00 a.m. & we had all the books picked up & shelved by 11:00 a.m.! YEAH!!
