Crook County Library once again hosted several cemetery walks around the county this summer. Cemetery walks are a great way to learn more about the history of Crook County and share the stories of our early residents. During the course of an evening, we "visit" a number of "residents of each cemetery, relate their biographies, and share stories or memories about them. The cemetery walks are open to all and free -- an enjoyable way to spend a summer evening. Cemetery walks this summer included Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Sundance, Moorcroft Cemetery, Moore Hill Cemetery near Hulett, and Greenwood Cemetery (off Hwy 116 near Sundance).
