September is Library Card Sign-Up Month!

A library card is every child's ticket  to academic achievement and every adult's ticket to lifelong learning.  One of the simplest ways you can ensure both is by making a quick trip to the library.  September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when the Crook County Public Library System, with libraries in Sundance, Moorcroft, and Hulett, joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure everyone has a library card.

Resources at our Crook County libraries are available to anyone who has a library card.  Students can turn to the library for materials, programs and services that support academic achievement.  We have many online databases available to all our patrons, free of charge, plus free downloadable ebooks and eaudiobooks.  These resources can be accessed from your home computer as well, not just library computers.

The mission of our library is to enable all of our Crook County residents to cherish their history and expand their personal horizons through free and easily accessible information and services.  Come on in and use your library card to learn, explore, or just relax.  Travel the world from your armchair.  Use our meeting room facilities.  Attend humanities programs and other programs.  Participate in book discussion groups.  Explore your family history.  The prospects are limitless at your library, so come on in and "check us out!"
